An early advertising poster by J.H. Buffords Sons, copyrighted in 1885. For Smith's Clinch Back Suspsender's "with Elastic Straps For Solid Comfort." Patented March 19, 1878 with non-elastic shoulder straps, and elastic web buttoning straps. Beautifully pictured is a family on a carriage going through the forest, pulled by four galloping horses. The colors are exquisite and bright, the sign is in near mint condition. Housed in a black frame, under museum glass. Retains it original metal bands top and bottom.
