March 13 & 14, 2019 Toy, Doll & Figural Cast Iron
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/13/2019
Lot consists of: two painted white chairs with short ladder backs, a wooden circus trapeze artist lady with bisque head and molded and painted hair in a tight bun atop her head, and a circus horse with black and white dappled coat and red platform on his back for a performer, retaining much of the leather trappings around his head and leather ears. There is also a glass eyed cow with leather horns wearing a brass bell around its neck on the original leather strap, a leather tail and a detailed udder. There is a brown painted feeding trough, and a rare, glass eyed white bulldog with a black patch over his left eye, leather ears, red leather collar with studs and a leather tail. Its particularly designed back legs allow the dog to attach to another accessory. He has a two part molded face, perhaps to allow for the glass eyes. Last figure is a lady figure who wears a cloth dress and has dark blond molded up-swept hair. Typical minor wear to paint and some frailty to the original clothing, especially of the trapeze artist.
Condition: (Very Good).
