Made on a 1-1/2 frame with 28" Parker Special Steel barrels, this gun has a full length matted top rib with usual barrel markings and steel front bead. Built with double triggers, auto-ejectors, and auto-safety. Double triggers, splinter forend. The gun is engraved in typical late GHE grade pattern with quail on right, pheasants on bottom, and ducks on left surrounded by light scroll engraving. Bottom of action engraved "Parker" as typically seen on Remington era guns. The gun has a capped pistol grip buttstock that is checkered in a two point pattern through the wrist and terminates with the original Parker Brothers dog's head buttplate and has a nickel shield near the toe. CONDITION: Very good. Action retains a trace or two of original case color but may have been lightly cleaned long ago. The stocks are sound with scattered handling marks and light scratches and retain most of what appears to be their original finish, checkering is still fine. Barrels retain about 85% original blue finish with scattered light scratches and handling marks. Bores are bright and shiny, mechanics are good.
