15 sealed wooden crates containing 11,400 rounds of Romanian steel case 8mm ball ammunition. Crates are marked "7.92 LPS / MD 71 / 760 BUC". Each crate contains two sealed "spam cans" of 380 rounds each. This cataloger has fired ammunition taken from similarly marked crates and found this ammunition to be sure-fire, running well out of Maxim machine guns as well as several other German belt-fed guns. However this ammunition is offered at auction "AS IS" with no warranty whatsoever, and under the condition that this ammunition is sold as collector's ammo only. With strong notice that since Morphy's has no control whatsoever over what happens to or with ammunition once it leaves our possession, we cannot accept any responsibility whatsoever.
