The Caille Bros. produced this "Money Back" version of their George Washington scale in 1904, very rare and only a few known to exist. The cabinet is quartered white oak, complete with the original plating to the ornate castings with a beautiful patina. The marquee reads "This Scale Gives Back Your Money If Your Lucky." The dial pictures George Washington and displays a weight measurement up to 300 lbs. with an "Average Weight" chart. Minimal wear throughout with a new back door and marquee. In working condition, this scale provides accurate weight and will return your coin if it makes its way through the "Money Back" play field.
