The "Handy Gun" was always very popular, and the 8" barrel version was truly quite handy. This gun is marked "410 - 12 mm" on top. Blued top lever hammer action is marked "HARRINGTON & RICHARDSON ARMS CO" and "WORCESTER, MASS U. S. A." on left side. Early guns were not marked "Handy Gun" on right. Serial number is on action top spur. Comfortable one piece walnut grip is nicely checkered. Small forend screws to barrel. CONDITION: Excellent. Metal parts retain over 80% blue with sharp edge wear, some scratches and flecking with a very small knick on right side edge of muzzle. Bore is excellent. Mechanically fine. THIS IS A NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT ITEM AND REQUIRES BATF APPROVAL PRIOR TO TRANSFER. THIS ITEM IS FULLY TRANSFERABLE ON AN ATF FORM 3 OR 4 AS A CURIO AND RELIC ELIGIBLE "ANY OTHER WEAPON".
