Lot consists of (A) Unmarked, undated, stamped at ricasso with a hare's head and F. P. CONDITION: Blade rusted overall, dark bronze hilt with some cracking, leather scabbard alligatored and with open seam. Chape and locket in good condition. (B) Emerson and Silver, Trenton, NJ, US DFM 1863. CONDITION: Pristine bright polished blade with no discernible rust or other defects. Hilt still bright with no significant dents or damage. The scabbard with door dents on drag, light rust on blued scabbard, and repaired belt hook. (C) Stamped Emerson and Silver, Trenton, NJ, US DFM 1863 CONDITION: Good markings but blade with dozens of chips in the edge, which appear to be very old and possibly from use during the Civil War. Hilt has a number of what appear to be battle nicks with good age inside. Grip is crisp. Drag on scabbard with door dents, missing a screw. No original finish remaining on steel part of scabbard but no bad corrosion. (D) 32" Blade stamped at ricasso Emerson and Silver, Trenton, NJ, US DFM inspected 1863. CONDITION: Stained blade with some very minor corrosion at tip. Hilt is crisp. Chape has a number of dents as does drag. Steel scabbard with traces of finish.
