Brow tine stag handled carving knife with matching two tined fork from the dean of custom knife makers, William Scagel (1873-1963). This knife is a classic Scagel with 5-3/4" straight drop point blade, angled brass guard, stacked sole leather, hard rubber, and brass spacers in the handle, and brow tine stag pommel. Left side of the blade is marked with the iconic Bill Scagel Kris logo on the left ricasso. This two piece carving set with stacked sole leather handles and brow tine stag pommels has an overall length knife 11-1/2" with blade length of 5-3/4". Fork overall 9" with Kris marking on front. CONDITION: Near pristine with very slight evidence of handling. Handles are near pristine, and set shows no actual use. This set was purchased directly from William "Bill" Scagel and was consigned to us by the original purchasers family and has never been offered for sale prior. TDW
