This mid-level sidelock game gun was built with double triggers, auto ejectors, and automatic safety. The splinter forend is checkered in three point pattern with Anson type push button release. The relatively plain straight grip buttstock is checkered in a two point pattern through the wrist with unengraved nickel oval near the toe and terminates with a modern Silvers type pad. The richly case colored action is lightly scroll engraved as is the blued top lever and long trigger guard tang. Barrel flats with provisional proof marks. CONDITION: Extremely fine as refurbished, retaining about all custom finishes to both wood and metal. Case colors are very bold and vibrant. Stocks retain about all of their custom finishes with a few light handling marks, buttstock is contemporary. The gun has been made to near new again. Mechanics are fine, though there is a hint of looseness in the hinge when assembled. Bores with minor orange peel.
