Clearly a work in progress, this is a STEN registered receiver tube which someone has added Beretta 38A machine guns parts to. Pretty good workmanship too. No bolt, magazine, or stock present. Charging handle only moves about 1/2" or so. Duel trigger mechanism seems to actuate properly. A neat project idea needing additional parts and appropriate gunsmithing/manufacturing. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish fair to very good with receiver tube in the white with the shroud turning a grey-brown patina. Bore appears somewhat worn with shiny rifling and grooves. This is an unfinished machine gun on a registered tube but treat it as a select fire gun due to the dual Beretta triggers. See a Beretta parts lot in this same auction which came in from a different consignor!! Complete the project, or abandon it in favor of using the registered tube for something else. Your choice.
