Features short frame, round barrel with dovetailed inverted V front sight, V notch rear sight on rear toggle link, wide grip safety, walnut checkered grips and eight round detachable box magazine. The gun is all matching except the grips. CONDITION: Poor bore showing some pitting and frosting. Two piece wood grips showing some wear. The left grip is number 57 the right grip is unnumbered. No chips or cracks in the grips. Gun retains approximately 98% of the non-original rust blue finish and 95% of the non-original straw color. The original tin magazine is in fair shape with a correct un-numbered wood bottom which is a modern reproduction . American Eagle above the chamber and "DWM" in scroll on the front toggle link. The extractor is marked loaded. Approximately 3,000 manufactured for sales in the United States.
