Manufactured in 1918. Features long frame, round pencil barrel with dovetailed inverted V front sight, V notch rear sight on rear toggle link, wide grip safety, distinctive Swiss style walnut grips with an un-checkered border, old style sideplate, and eight round detachable box magazine. Manufactured by Waffenfabrik Bern for the Swiss military. Ejector is marked "GELADEN" on the left side. An all matching numbered gun. Center toggle link marked "WAFFENFABRIK BERN". CONDITION: Mirror bore with sharp lands and grooves. Gun retains approximately 95% of the arsenal blue finish and 95% of the arsenal straw colored small parts. This was the first model of Luger made outside of Germany. This gun was in the first delivery of the wholly domestic made pistols. P-49 on left side of frame indicating it was sold out of the military in 1949. The initials "LAC" are engraved on the left side. Comes in a contemporary case with a Swiss cleaning kit and two extra magazines. Also comes with a muzzle cover made by "H LUTHY ARMS". All three magazines have reproduction wood bottoms.
