Lot consists of: (A) Two sling swivels were made to hook to a cavalry carbine and attach to the horse. Included are two of these attachments. CONDITION: Fine. (B) Seven of the bayonets are US type for the Trapdoor or Civil War Springfields, two have the original leather scabbards and hangers. Tip is broken off one scabbard but is still included. All of the bayonets are stamped US. CONDITION: Bayonets are patinated, some have bright steel showing. The two scabbards are quite tender and have significant wear. (C) The last bayonet is dated 1898 and is made for the US Krag rifles. It comes with the metal sheath and hanger. CONDITION: Knife and sheath both are good with some patination.
