Sliding wooden patchbox flintlock Kentucky rifle with "J.J. Henry" marked flint lock. Consignor attributes this rifle to "Peter Kuntz". Brass Lehigh style "Arrow" sideplate with "pinched" Lehigh style trigger guard. Plain maple stock with Lehigh stock profile and typical Lehigh brass buttplate. Unsigned large caliber smoothbore octagon barrel with rifle sights. Diamond silver inlay on cheekpiece. Gun made without entry pipe. CONDITION: Overall good condition with good mechanics. Barrel and wood have marks indicating that they have been lengthened with possible reconversion. Wood has been cleaned and refinished with patchbox lid being a replacement. DLM2019
