Lot consists of: (A) Nice example of the classic North Vietnamese Army MIN or sometimes Minh Mine, this is actually classified as a landmine and not a grenade. There is some anecdotal information that claims that a delay grenade fuze could be found replacing the mine fuze, but it has not been well documented. This example is in fine condition, having the common EOD inert holes in the body and little paint remaining. The stick is intact with the cap and the mine has the rarely found fibrous twine still attached. (B) One of two such grenades in this collection is this classic stick grenade design from the Vietnam War, having the common short stick with the fragmented body. Despite having EOD inert holes in the grenade body, the grenade is in fine to excellent condition, with both the body and stick very clean. The stick retains the wooden plug and the original fibrous twine is also present.
