Daum vide poche rests on a heavy cameo carved pedestal with an applied foil-backed insect at the foot. The tray of the vide poche has cameo decoration inside and out of autumn leaves and is further decorated with two applied foil-backed insects on the interior. The exterior is further decorated with foil-backed faceted jewels on each side. Signed on the underside with engraved signature "DAUM NANCY" with the Cross of Lorraine.
