Large Handel leaded glass shade has creamy yellow flowers encircling the shade along scrolling green stems and leaves, all set against a striated green background. The skirt is bordered by a geometric band of red glass signed on the interior with applied metal tag "HANDEL". The shade rests on an original Handel base decorated at the foot with overlapping stylized leaves. The stem leads to a five-socket goose-arm cluster, all topped with an open work Handel cone-shaped cap. Signed on the underside "HANDEL". Shade is very good to excellent with very few tight hairlines. Base is very good with a possible alteration to riser supporting cap and some minor wear and discoloration to finish. Cloth cord is beginning to wear. CORRECTION: Title updated. We do not guarantee that this shade is manufactured by Handel.
