5-1/2" octagonal to round barrel with nickeled silver foresight and no provision for loading lever. The round cylinder with British proofs, the frame with recoil shield, sparsely engraved, signed "T. K. BAKER LONDON", the spurred hammer engraved "BAKER'S PATENT", steel backstrap and trigger guard, trigger guard with "No. 2251", gun has push-on safety, finely checkered walnut grips, steel buttcap. CONDITION: Patinated overall with no significant pitting, some minor pinprick pitting on front strap, backstrap and buttcap. Action is crisp, push-on safety does not function. Bore is fine with microgroove rifling. A good transitional revolver. MZ
