The 29 - 1/4" blade etched for 3/4" of its length with the standard American Eagle, E Pluribum Unum, large US, and Lilley address. Gilt brass hilt of standard pattern for this type of sword. Sharkskin grip wrapped with single strand brass wire. Nickel scabbard with standard mounts. CONDITION: Sword is virtually as issued throughout with some extremely minor crazing to the nickel scabbard. Blade is pristine as new with one extremely minor stain at ricasso on right side. Hilt retains most of its original gilding. Blackened sharkskin grip essentially as new.
