Lot consists of: (A) A pair of beautiful extra large fighters/daggers, the first features its original sharpened double edge, "R.O. Easler Handcrafted" bear etch, and a hand rubbed finish on both the blade and bolsters. The tapered full tang is complimented with pinned and dyed burlwood handles with red liners. No sheath. CONDITION: Unused, however the handles display significant shrinkage, resulting in one large pin crack on the mark side scale, and one pin crack on the reverse side scale. The handles exhibit small cracks and checks throughout. (B) The second extra large fighter/dagger features its original double edges, "R.O. Easler Handcrafted" bear etch, and a hand rubbed finish on the blades and bolsters. The tapered full tang encompasses pinned bone handles and red liners. No sheath. CONDITION: Unused, however the handles display significant shrinkage, resulting in two large pin cracks on the mark side scale, with two large pin cracks on the reverse scale (stemming from the same handle pin). Russell O. Easler Jr., of Woodruff, South Carolina was a knifemaker for close to 35 years when he passed away in 2008. A member of the Knifemakers' Guild and a true gentleman, Mr. Easler's knives are known and collected worldwide.
