We are of the opinion that the following items have been enhanced with names of famous personalities to enhance their values. The lot consists of: (A) Khaki garrison cap stamped on the sweatband "W. Holden - Shears". (B) M1 helmet with two white stars painted on the front, liner with "Western Costume Co" tag with typed tag reading "John Wayne E-2". (C) USAF Blue tunic with direct embroidered Major General's stars on the shoulder straps and Command Pilot Wings on the left breast. Interior pocket stamped "Stewart, James M, Major General". (D) Green Beret with Special Forces flash and colonel's eagle on the front, Sigma patch on the interior crown. Interior with a "Western Costume Co John Wayne" label. (E) World War II period US Army Officers visor cap with "Rosenfield Uniform Co" makers label, sweatband embossed "J. Wayne RKO - Jet Pilot ". (F) Khaki US Navy officer's visor cap with oak leaves embroidered on the visor, interior maker marked "Wolf-Brown, Inc" and with a "Western Costume Co Hal Holbrook Midway" label. (G) Khaki shirt stamped "John Wayne" in the collar. (H) Hunting vest stamped "John Wayne" in the collar. (H) "DUKE" brass belt buckle. (I) Wristwatch engraved on the reverse "To Duke From Ann M". (J) Fraternal fez decorated on its front "Almaladikah Ambassador-At-Large", contained in a plastic case embossed "John Wayne". CONDITION: All in very good to excellent condition. DG
