The pistol is of standard configuration, with barrel stamped US, EB over P. The lock plate is stamped "A. WATERS MILBURY MASS 1842". Walnut stock with B inspector's stamp but no cartouche. CONDITION: Barrel is polished bright over very minor pitting. Lock is fine throughout, with no significant pitting. Steel furniture is polished bright. Bore is fine. The stock is full dimension, with some raised grain and minor chipping forward of barrel band on left side. Action is sticky and will not stay on full cock. A more than acceptable specimen of this attractive US martial flintlock pistol. From the Robert Sadler Collection.
