The round barrel with British proof and Liege proof, marked LONDON. The bolted lock with rudimentary engraving. Simple bolster type conversion to percussion stamped "TRYON PHILADA". Maple full stock with brass forend and some striping. Simple brass furniture. CONDITION: Stock with attractive period varnish and only minor marks. The lock with hammer replaced during period of conversion. Action is sticky. Bore is poor. A genuine Kentucky style pistol. From the Robert Sadler Collection.
