Of standard configuration throughout. The barrel with brown finish over old pitting stamped P over US and J. Further marked on top of barrel COND G HA 1 FIRST B 4(?) The lock with clear S. NORTH MIDDLN CONN, US and eagle. CONDITION: Walnut stock has been cleaned. Cartouche is faint but visible. Mounts with minor pitting, particularly on butt cap. Stock with only minor marks. Action is crisp. Gun is original flint. Bore is fair. Oak ramrod with slotted tip appears to be an original. Markings bear further research. From the Robert Sadler Collection.
