Made with 32" ventilated rib barrel, this is a relatively scarce higher grade Baker. Made with blued frame which is lightly floral engraved with dogs on left, pheasants on right and light floral scroll on bottom. The replacement buttstock is nicely figured and well checkered and has a capped pistol grip and terminates with a modern "Hawkins" pad. The original forend is nicely checkered with rotating release which is blued and very lightly engraved. CONDITION: Very good as partially restored. Barrels retain about 90% of what appears to be their original blue. Action retains about 80% of its blued finish. Replacement buttstock retains virtually all of its custom finish. Forend is excellent. Bore is bright and shiny with minor beginning orange peel. Mechanics are very good.
