Made in 1898. Winchester Model 1886 saddle ring carbine with blued round barrel, full magazine and case hardened receiver with saddle ring. Carbine style forearm and buttstock. Correct style sights. CONDITION: Barrel has been cleaned to a silvery patina with small dings around sight base. Action has been cleaned to a silvery finish with some added cold blue. Buttstock has been sanded with small piece of wood added on comb in front of buttplate. Small slivers of wood added behind tang and stock has a crack from tang to middle of buttstock. Forearm has been sanded and is cracked. Good mechanics with a shootable bore.
