Mid 19th century. Connecticut. The circular dial with roman numeral chapter ring and single winding aperture marked with the Waterbury clock company logo beneath the numeral 12, set within a walnut frame with rosewood veneers above the throat with a hinged viewing door with glass panel above a simple frieze with conforming decoration. The clock with a key-wind 8-day brass movement, time only. Size: 27" L. x 17" W. Condition: Clock has not been inspected, and so operational abilities are unknown. Clock is accompanied by a key and pendulum. Case has been refinished and re-polished. Dial is original and somewhat yellowed with age, otherwise very good.
