Lot consists of (A) National Postal Meter manufactured M-1 carbine made between September 1943 and November 1943. Marlin marked barrel with no date. Correct "N" marked trigger group and slide. Gun was rebuilt for Korea with round bolt, sling band with bayonet stud, rear adjustable sight and flip safety. Uncut wood buttstock with "NPM FJA" and crossed cannons visible on right side of stock. Racking numbers stamped on left side of stock. "IO" marked two rivet top wood. Comes with green woven sling, ammo pouch and two 15 round mags. CONDITION: Overall good with 60% arsenal finish with service marks. Shootable bore with ME of 2 and good mechanics. (B) One of 29000 receivers built by Union Switch and Signal between October 1943 and March 1944 for Quality Hardware. Inland marked barrel dated 3-44. Gun was rearsenalled for Korea with M2 style cut stock, slide and round bolt but is an M1. Mixed manufacture internal parts. Replacement rear flip sight. Late style four rivet top wood, flip safety, bayonet sling band and clip release. Comes with green woven sling, ammo pouch and three 15 round clips. CONDITION: 60% arsenal refinish with shootable bore (ME of 2) and good mechanics.
