Lot consists of three M44 bolt action rifles. (A) C.A.I. import. Romanian receiver manufactured in 1954. Matching numbers aside from bolt. Cleaning rod not present. CONDITION: Metal components show wear and handling marks all around. Wood is in good condition showing wear to varnish and scattered handling marks. Bore is frosted and retains strong rifling. Action locks up tightly. (B) C.A.I. import. Russian receiver manufactured by Izhevsk in 1947. Matching numbers include receiver, bolt, floorplate, and buttplate. Bayonet not present. CONDITION: Metal components are excellent showing little wear to reapplied arsenal finish. Stock is good aside from areas of loss to the wood on handguard and scattered handling marks. Bore is bright, showing strong rifling. Action locks up tightly. (C) C.A.I. import. Hungarian receiver manufactured in 1953. Matching numbers include receiver, floorplate, and buttplate. Cleaning rod not present. CONDITION: Metal components show heavy wear and thinning to finish. Stock shows losses to wood and scattered handling marks. Mirror bore with strong rifling. Action locks up tightly.
