Henry Gibbs Lancaster, Pennsylvania made Kentucky with unmarked Golcher style flint lock. Octagonal smoothbore barrel stamped "H. Gibbs Lancaster, Pa." with rifle sights. Full curly maple stock with wrist checkering and brass furniture including four piece engraved patchbox with heart piercing. Single trigger. Brass oval inlay on cheek with crossed arrow design. Push button release in toe plate for patchbox. CONDITION: Overall good condition with wood having two foot extension replaced in forestock and a coat of finish added. Reconverted lock using period looking parts. Toeplate broken and chunk missing. Mechanically functions with weak trigger spring.
