Later Winchester Model 12 with "Y" prefix serial number. Made with vent rib barrel with twin white beads. Choke marking "FULL" on left side. Forearm is checkered in diamond pattern on sides and center. Polished carrier. Full knob buttstock checkered in two point pattern through the wrist, with small Monte Carlo at butt, and terminates with white lined red colored Winchester brand waffle pad. Housed in its original Winchester red white and blue box. CONDITION: Very good. Retains about 90% original finish throughout with flaking in the blue and a few light handling marks. We suspect that the stock may be salt wood as there is corrosion around the frame, though that is not a known issue with this model. Most notably there is a small area of deterioration on the left side of the frame at the stock and an area of blue loss on the left side. There is one more significant, yet still light, scratch on the right side of the stock. Box is very good with minor stains.
