Very late production gun with "FWS" prefix to serial number, this Ideal grade made with raised matted and tapered rib with steel front bead. Large beavertail forend with Schnabel tip and roll type release. Made with Hunter one trigger, auto ejectors, and non auto safety. Action is engraved in standard Ideal grade pattern. Capped pistol grip buttstock is checkered in point pattern through the wrist with lined hard rubber buttplate. CONDITION: Very good as partially restored. Barrels retain about 85% original blued finish with thinning towards muzzle. Stocks are excellent as restored and retain most of their custom finishes. Action retains about 40% of its original color. Trigger works, bores are bright and shiny. Mechanics are fine. From the Mel Hrubetz collection.
