Lot consists of: (A) A nice eagle pommel saber with curved single fuller blade, decorated with blued panels on each side with gilt washed engraved designs. Brass reverse 'P' hilt with langeuttes, the right side featuring a relief patriotic eagle. Eagle head pommel with bone grip. CONDITION: Blade retains about 50% of original blue with scattered spotting and flaking. Hilt retains a dark mustard patina, showing some high edge wear. Grip excellent with some minor age cracks. (B) A reverse 'P' hilted eagle pommel saber with patriotic engraved designs on blade. Bone grip with checkered panels. CONDITION: Retains a dark heavy patina overall, showing some nicks to edge and minor chipping to grip around pommel. (C) Eagle pommel reverse 'P' hilted saber, patriotic motifs engraved on blade with gilt wash engraved panels. Bone grip. CONDITION: Blade retains a mostly brown patina with generous traces of gilt and blue finishes. Hilt retains a dark mustard patina. Grip shows one large age crack on right side. A nice group of attractive American eagle pommel swords. DMG
