Mauser C-96 Broomhandle pistol chambered for the 7.63 Mauser cartridge and equipped with wooden holster/stock. U Crown proofed and finished in the wartime commercial finish, this pistol was probably intended for export for the Chinese market. Hammer is New Safety marked. Having Imperial proofs on right side of chamber and very unusual World War II era Nazi German proof (Eagle over HZaJT18). Housed in original wooden shoulder stock/holster. CONDITION: Very fine with all numbers matching internally and externally. Over 90% original rust blue finish remains with loss on barrel from stock storage as well as magazine base plate and typical grips straps and edge wear. Bore is excellent and mechanics are properly functioning. Wooden stock is complete with attaching iron but is not numbers matching to pistol.A unique and fine condition C96.
