This is a first year production Colt Sporting Model 1902 in .38 ACP caliber. Less than 7000 of these pistols were manufactured between 1903-1908. Commonly referred to as the "Colt Long Slide" models. CONDITION: This example has been masterfully restored to brand new condition. 100% Colt type Royal blue finish with razor sharp legends, fire blue small parts and screws with custom smooth walnut oil finished grips. Even the correct magazine is restored. Strong bore with some light frosting. This gun looks like you walked into a gun shop in 1903 and purchased it new.
