Offered is a stunning 90% plus antique Colt 6" .38 LC caliber Lightning made in 1896. Brilliant case colors and bright Colt blue with just some minor age freckling and light handling marks. It is also very desirable as it falls into the antique serial number range and has the scarce long barrel. CONDITION: About as nice an example of a Lightning that you will fine. The small parts and screws retain nearly all of the brilliant fire blue finish and the grips are near mint as well. The bore is near mint. We tested the action once and it indexes and locks up like new. The cylinder does not even show any powder burn. Outstanding antique Colt.
