Barrel measures 44 - 1/2" overall, copper band proceeding faceted section of muzzle. 1-1/4" diameter smooth bore. Overall length 60". 14" post for mounting. The extremely heavy and unusual matchlock barrel with fluted muzzle, copper band, high partridge rear sight, matchlock pan missing pan cover. The stock of classic Indian form crudely hewn with museum number "4/153". The barrel now mounted with roughly forged long iron pintle for deck use. Weight approximately 40 pounds. Barrel als numbered in white paint "15". CONDITION: Stock heavily weathered from river use. Barrel patinated from outdoor use as well. A most unusual and interesting sub-continent cannon. MZ
