Lot consists of: (A) US “Peace” flask with great Mexican War date. Maker marked under spout “BATTY 1847.” (B) US “Peace” flask maker marked and dated “N.P. AMES 1832.” (C) US “Peace" flask maker marked and dated “N.P. AMES 1837.” (D) US “Peace" flask maker marked and dated “BATTY 1858.” Flasks measure 9-3/4" long and have are 4" across. Copper construction, flasks are equipped with a plain screw-off flask top, brass collar, adjustable charger, thumb piece cutter and loading rim. (E) Rifleman’s brass flask featuring a raised horn on one side, and on the reverse “PUBLIC PROPERTY.” (F) Smaller copper pistol or charge flask maker marked under spout "G.& J.W. HAWKSLEY, SHEFFIELD." (G) Flask maker marked “R. DINGE NEW YORK 1838. CONDITION: Unless otherwise noted, all flasks are mechanically functional, show nice overall patina, and are in excellent condition. BM
