98k manufactured by Gustloff Werke in 1944. Receiver ring is marked "bcd/4". Bolt matches receiver, blued extractor and rear sight both match bolt assembly number. Metal components including the floorplate and trigger guard are constructed of stamped metal. Barrel bands are milled. Metal components retain the late war phosphate finish. The extractor, rear sight ladder, barrel bands, sight hood, bayonet lug, and cleaning rod are blued. Laminated stock with later war cupped buttplate. CONDITION: Metal components retain majority of finish showing areas of wear all around. Blued components show thinning with patina showing through. Stocks are good showing scattered handling and storage marks. Bright bore with strong rifling throughout.
