Standard No.4 Mk.I (T) sniper rifle configuration. Cheek rest on top of stock comb. M47C marked on the left side of the butt socket for BSA manufacture. Dated 1944. S51 properly stamped into bottom of stock. All matching numbers including the scope mount and magazine. The scope number matches the number stamped just behind the receiver. No. 32 Mk. III scope is dated 1946, made by AK&S. The original label on the wood transit case is matching to the gun as is the canvas scope case. CONDITION: Very fine with 95% original finish overall and light handling marks. Wood is very fine with minor handling marks. Bore is fine with sharp rifling. Fine mechanical function. Optics are clear with some crazing to the interior film coating on the ocular lens. Case is solid with most of the original paint. Leather carry straps are fine, possibly replaced. Some cracks in the lid. GR
