These two unique sizing and resizing dies are made of iron and are marked "FRANKFORD ARSENAL RESIZING DIE No. 170". Inspection H.M. is found on side. The second die is marked "RESIZING DIE FRANKFORD ARSENAL" inspection I.M. is found on side and one end is marked top. These unique dies are obviously for the reloading process of US Arsenal produced ammunition. This simple system of resizing cartridges is still in use today. Provenance , Max Guenthert collection CONDITION: Very fine with slight oxidation on exterior. Markings are crisp and legible. TDW
