Lot consists of: (A) Stevens Vernier New Model Pocket rifle made from 1896-1916 by J. Stevens Arms and Tool Company, Chicopee Falls, Massachusetts. Gun has blued octagon to round rifled barrel with blade front sight and notched rear. Nickeled frame and trigger guard with Vernier tang sight. Walnut wood grips. Comes with nickeled skeleton steel stock numbered to the gun. CONDITION: 80% barrel blue with good bore. 60% nickel remaining with frame having some flaking. 50% varnish with some light scratching. Good mechanics. (B) Stevens New Model Pocket rifle with Stevens New Model Scope. Blued octagon to round rifled barrel with bled Stevens New Model scope with fine crosshair optic. Nickeled frame and trigger guard. Walnut plain grip with nickeled skeleton steel stock (not matching gun but is correct style). CONDITION: 80% barrel blue with good bore. 70% nickel with carry wear. 50% varnish with light scratching. Scope has 60% blue with clear optics. Good mechanics. From the Mel Hrubetz collection. DLM
