Lot consists of (A) Fine, all brass flask, about 9 inches overall with a 1 - 3/8 inch spout. It is double sided with deep repoussed trophy of arms over crossed Patterson rifles and crossed Patterson revolvers. On the very bottom is a long ribbon embossed, “COLT’S PATENT”. Both sides are identical. The collar and spout are all brass with the collar secured with three small screws. The filler cap and the spout are spring-loaded. The ball magazine cover is marked "COLTS PATENT". The lower edges of the flask have staples with triangular hanger rings. CONDITION: Very fine. Retains a medium dark brass patina with scattered spots of red-brown patina. All of the Repousse detail is sharp however the base has a small dent as does one side, seam is slightly loose at bottom. (B) Two very fine Colt Pocket model flask with repoussed eagle on both sides. One for 1855 root and other for 1849 pocket. CONDITION: Both are very fine with solid seams and functioning lever and spout systems. TDW
