(Circa 2015) This well made and finished gun has styling reminiscent of the iconic John Dickson round action. It has 30" mono-bloc barrels with ventilated rib. Case hardened round bodied over/under action has elongated top tang with swell toward rear, as is found on the typical Dickson. Action is engraved with near full coverage small scroll with rose bouquet highlights. "INVERNESS" is across bottom. Trigger guard with scroll on bow is also partially inlet into bottom strap of action, also a Dickson feature. Tang extends to engraved steel grip cap in typical British style. Buttstock with Prince of Wales grip is nicely checkered and is of nicely figured American walnut. It measures 14 - 3/8" over red pad. Matching field forend has Anson type release. CONDITION: Excellent, essentially as new, with only a few scattered handling and assembly marks, most notably a 1/2" shallow ding on left side of butt behind checkering. Mechanically excellent.
