Extremely rare "Money Back" version of the classic George Washington 1¢ scale made by the Caille Brothers in Detroit, circa 1904. This example - one of only a few known - is all-original with the exception of one of the back doors. The Washington dial is immaculate, and the castings are all original. This scale has an early restoration to the oak finish and nickel plating. The Marquee is vintage. It is painted tin with signs of age, and in an original wood frame. Since an original version has never been seen, it's hard to determine the age of this one, but it is not cardboard like most. An outstanding example of a very hard scale to find. Has key.

This is not a standard shippable item and will require 3rd party shipping or pickup arrangements to be made.
