The receiver on this rifle was made from March of 1941 - June of 1941, at least six months before Pearl Harbor. It has been completely rebuilt to almost as new condition with a brand new walnut stock with proper "SA GHS" cartouche and crossed cannons. The barrel is a Springfield dated 1955. The rear sight is a later version. The parkerized finish was done in a light gray. Balance of internal parts are of mixed gov't manufacture. CONDITION: Metal and wood remain at nearly 100% with some light handling marks. The near new barrel has a TE reading of 2 and an ME reading of 1.5. DB
