Serial number 461566 manufactured by Colt in 1918. Marked "UNITED STATES PROPERTY" on left side of frame. Correct barrel with proper military inspection stamps. Correct long hammer with rounded rear edge. Colt recoil spring guide with rounded front and legs. Heart shaped receiver openings under grips. Correct two-tone clip with inspector stamp at the toe. Correct checkered walnut grips with diamonds. CONDITION: Very fine overall being professionally restored, with most all reapplied blue finish remaining. Grips are excellent showing minimum wear. Bore is a little dark with scatted pitting. Overall an attractive well restored Colt 1911. Correct two-piece walnut grips are excellent showing minimum wear. -MKS-
