Just an absolutely stunning Mauser broomhandle Schnellfeuer Machine Pistol with “BNP” proof-mark visible on barrel flat and including original “MAUSER” cartouched wooden holster. Markings are very crisp and clear and only upon the closest inspection can one detect this gun has been refinished. Wooden grips are outstanding unnumbered replacements. Mauser banner logo just to the rear of the “N” and “R” selector switch. “WAFFENFABRIK MAUSER OBERNDORF A. NECKAR D.R.P.u.A.P.” on right reciver with typical crown over "U" and Mauser markings on chamber. One Mauser marked 10 round magazine included. Schnellfeuers have been found worldwide as they were sold in significant numbers for police and military use as well as for private ownership. This particular specimen evidently found its way to England at some point before being imported into the United States and registered. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is near excellent professional refinish with beautiful clear markings. Slight loss of finish at selector switch. Wood grips are near excellent. Mechanics are fine. Bore has shiny rifling with softened edges to the lands. Bolt is extremely fine to near excellent. Wood stock exhibits typical light dings and handling marks but remains very attractive. This is a select fire machine gun. An absolutely beautiful gun so well restored as to impress anybody who sees it. Just wow! THIS IS A NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT ITEM AND REQUIRES BATF APPROVAL PRIOR TO TRANSFER. THIS ITEM IS TRANSFERABLE ONLY TO ACTIVE FFL/SOT DEALERS ON AN ATF FORM 3 BUT MAY BE RETAINED BY SOLE PROPRIETOR FFL/SOT HOLDERS WHEN THEY RELINQUISH THEIR LICENSES UPON BATF APPROVAL.
