Lot consists of: A) Model 1816 "Horse Pistol" with flint lock marked "S. North" over "Midl. Con" with brass flash pan. Round smoothbore barrel with "US" stamp. Walnut stock with iron furniture and "skullcracker". Hardwood ramrod with large sloped tip. B) Model 1836 flint lock smoothbore "Horse Pistol" made by and marked on lock "Asa Waters Millbury, Ms.". Walnut stock with iron furniture and attached folding iron ramrod. Blade sight with "NB" stamp near breech of barrel. CONDITION: A) Metal has aged to a silvery patina along with metal parts. Wood has a crack repaired through the lock and has had the entire forestock replaced in front of the lock. Mechanics are good. B) Overall aged metal finish fading to a silvery appearance. Wood is good with some light handling marks and dings. Mechanics are good. DLM
