Only made from 1871-1888. Less than 15,000 of these small repeating magazine pistols were ever made. The caliber is .32 rimfire extra short. This example is wonderfully factory engraved with 2/3 coverage, mostly scroll pattern with punch dot background. The gun is finished in nickel with ivory grips. This example is exceedingly fine condition and fully functioning. This was one of the first metallic cartridge pistols to use a tubular magazine. CONDITION: This fine pistol retains at least 98% of the factory nickel finish and the grips are excellent with good color. The rifling is sharp with some frosting. An extremely handsome Remington.
